Your rights under Japanese law (APPI)
This policy is provided in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI, 個人情報保護法). Readima is a browser extension distributed through the Chrome Web Store; it operates locally in your browser and we collect the minimum information required to keep it working.
Legal basis and purpose of use
We process the limited data described above only to operate and improve Readima, to respond to support requests, and to comply with applicable law. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
Data retention
Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Any locally stored extension settings live in your own browser profile and are removed when you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data.
Your rights
Under the APPI you may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of provision to third parties of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; we respond without undue delay after verifying your identity.
International data transfers
